You may see symptoms from wearing contact lenses too long or being in a dry environment. Temporary dry eye is usually easily treated by artificial tears or eye drops to soothe the eyes.
Sunlight exposure and childrens eyes
The skin on their eyes is more delicate and vulnerable than adult skin and until about age 10, the lens of a child’s eye is clear, allowing greater solar penetration and thus greater UVR- induced ocular changes.
